The Rogue Marathon is a downhill Boston qualifier starting at Emigrant Lake just outside of beautiful Ashland, Oregon. The course traverses through country roads and eventually connects to the Bear Creek Greenway where runners are able to relax and focus setting their best times. The safe and scenic path leads to a family friendly finish party at the Pear Blossom Park in Medford, Oregon. The Half Marathon and 10K are held entirely on the Bear Creek Greenway. The Half Marathon begins in Talent, Oregon and the 10K starts at Bear Creek Park in Medford, Oregon. 

All three events have a downhill course which makes it a great event for beginning runners. The purse is substantial for an event of this size which will appeal to faster runners. Each participant will receive a tech shirt, high quality medal, free beverage and grilled cheese sandwiches at the finish. We hire photographers and make pictures available to all participants so they will have something to post on social media. 

NEW in 2021: This year's finish line celebration will be held in partnership with Travel Medford and the Bikes and Brews event.  Come celebrate all of your hard work at the first annual Heart of the Rogue Festival in downtown Medford.  Join us for hundreds of food, beer and wine vendors as well as live music and an award ceremony!

Saturday, October 16th: Pear Blossom Park, 314 E. 4th St., Medford, Oregon 97501 from 5:00-6:00am

Please note! We strongly encourage participants to pick up their packets the day before the race at Common Block Brewing Company. On the morning of the race, participants will be shuttled by bus to each respective starting line, but THERE WILL NOT BE PACKET PICK UP AT THE STARTING LINES. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO PICKUP FROM PEAR BLOSSOM PARK BEFORE CATCHING THE SHUTTLE OR HEADING TO YOUR STARTING LOCATION.
